Privacy Policy
Preliminary version — under reviewThis document explains how Al Oun handles data submitted through this website. The final approved text will be published after review by the firm's legal counsel.
Data we collect
We collect data you voluntarily provide through the consultation request form (name, contact method, and an optional note). We do not request sensitive case details through the website.
How we use data
Your data is used only to respond to your request and route you appropriately. It is not shared with third parties for marketing.
Data protection
We follow technical and organizational measures to limit unauthorized access to submitted data.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data through the firm's official channels.
Account & Portal Data
When you create a portal account, we collect your full name, email address, phone number, and category (lawyer, consultant, law firm, company, institution, or client), along with your firm or company name (for non-individual categories) or your bar or professional license number (for lawyers and consultants), depending on the category you select — we never see your password as plain text; it is fully encrypted. This data is used exclusively to let you track the status of requests (consultations, referrals, partnership applications) you have submitted under the same email, to contact you regarding those requests, and to manage access to Al Oun's internal dashboard where applicable. Data is hosted with infrastructure providers (Supabase and Vercel) outside Kuwait — no Kuwait-based hosting region is currently available from these providers. We retain your data for as long as your account remains active, and you may request its complete deletion by contacting us at any time.
